Let customers speak for us
from 23 reviewsI recently ordered a kit for a bike, which I ended up trading in for another bike. These folks went out of their way to send me the parts needed for my new bike. Awesome customer service and support!
I have not had a need yet but used the tools to change my oil. So much better of a tool kit in size and coverage of tools needed. To buy each tool separately would cost much more and take up too much space and weight. I added a pair of cutters, zip ties, thin wire, electrical tape and a couple valve stem caps and common bolts. Not sure what else I could need. I recommend this kit!
Well built tool set. Love the multi use handle. Solid and strong. Would recommend to anyone that want to carry a heavy tool bag but gets all the tools ya need in the backcountry. Thanks Obsidian 😊
Knock on wood, I haven't had to use it but gear is solid, compact and will be joining me on my adventures. Its a perfect side kit to my bigger tools. It fits neatly in my tank bag for easy access. Very happy! 👍
Have yet to use it on the road but kit is well designed and appears to be able to handle all basic needs of the bike in a pinch.
The quality is good
This is a very well thought out product! Everything you need for making a road/trail side repair to your (specific) motorcycle. The tools are very high quality and smartly designed for space saving and functionality. The case is versatile and well organized. There is extra storage in the case for other essentials not included in the kit, like electric tester, zip ties, flashlight, electrical tape, shop towel etc. The case has lots of Molle attachments and is relatively flat for minimal space use in your packout.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this kit - you will not be disappointed!
I love this set. All the included tools and attachments are high quality (I haven't used the saw or hammer yet). Racheting joints are smooth with no wobble. Using the tire irons as a frame for the pouch is a thoughtful touch. I just added a multi tool and small snap knife.

Seems like it will be a nice kit with additional room to add other necessities. Hopefully it won’t get used much.
Great communication with one of the founders, very helpful. Delivered quickly, and beautifully machined / designed products. I have not had the opportunity/necessity to use them yet but I suspect they will work well.
Bought it on spec. My old tools, heavy and somewhat rusty needed replacing. Saw the FB ad and went for it. Tools look well made and certainly take up less space. We shall see but so far, the process from ordering to receiving has been excellent
The Obsidian Tool Kit is a well thought out and neatly organized product. Each tool is a quality piece. Knowing this kit is specific to my bike gives me piece of mind that I will have the tool needed for any on road repairs.
Made my tool kit much easier to carry. I might have to ad a couple of things but I’m impressed.
Self-Reliance. Self-Recovery. Self-Rescue.
Obsidian is not just a brand—it is the result of years spent riding, breaking down, being shamefully unprepared, improvising, and learning what really matters when things go wrong. Out of those bad situations, great stories are born.
Designed for Motorcycle Travel — Not the Garage
Old tools work. They were just never designed for motorcycle travel
Traditional garage tools assume space, weight tolerance, and redundancy don’t matter. On a motorcycle, every ounce counts and every cubic inch is precious.
A System That Removes Guesswork Before You Pack
Packing tools shouldn’t feel like a gamble, and your tools shouldn’t have to fight for space.
Most riders face the same choice: overpack “just in case,” or leave something behind knowing it might be the one tool they need. Preparedness usually comes from hard experience — and failure.
Engineered to Reduce Cognitive Load Under Stress
Trail-side repairs aren’t difficult — until stress makes them so.
Fatigue, exposure, time pressure, and uncertainty degrade working memory and decision-making. This stress-induced cognitive narrowing is why simple repairs feel overwhelming when conditions aren’t ideal.
