Obsidian Return Policy

At Obsidian, we stand behind the precision and intent of our products. If a return is necessary, the following policy outlines how returns, refunds, and eligibility are handled.
Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.
30-Day Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.
Returned items must be received by Obsidian within this 30-day window to qualify for a refund.
Return Authorization Required
All returns must be authorized in advance.
To request a return authorization, customers must:

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
Condition Requirements
Returned items are evaluated upon receipt. Refund eligibility is determined based on condition.
Acceptable Return Conditions
- Product is new and unused
- Packaging may be opened
- Packaging may be damaged or missing
- All original components, parts, and included accessories are present
- Product case (if included) is unused and undamaged
Deductions for Condition Issues
The following deductions may apply:
- Signs of use on the tool (no damage):
A 25% restocking deduction will be applied - Missing or swapped parts:
Refund may be subject to a minimum 50% deduction and possibly more, or denied entirely, at Obsidian’s discretion
Obsidian reserves the right to refuse returns that show excessive wear, damage, misuse, or incomplete contents.
Kits and System Returns
Kits and systems must be returned complete.
- Individual components cannot be returned separately
- Partial returns of kits are not accepted
Exceptions:
Please contact Obsidian if a compatibility issue arises that would warrant consideration.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs in all standard cases
- Obsidian does not provide prepaid return labels unless the return is due to an error on our part
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Obsidian is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Refunds include the product price and any original shipping charges paid, if applicable (U.S. orders)
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection
Refunds may be adjusted based on the condition assessments described above.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:
- Clearance items
- Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale”
Final sale items may only be addressed under our Warranty Policy if a verified defect is present.
Abuse, Fraud, and Misuse
To protect the integrity of our products and customers:
- Obsidian reserves the right to refuse returns from customers exhibiting return abuse
- Refunds may be denied if fraud, misuse, or intentional damage is suspected
These determinations are made at Obsidian’s sole discretion.
International Orders
At this time, international returns are handled case by case.
Customers are responsible for all international return shipping costs, duties, and taxes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
